Talented midcourter Reeghan de Bono is back for a second season in Magic colours after being elevated from training partner status in 2024 season. Born in Australia but moving back to New Zealand where her family has a long history with Netball Bay of Plenty, and attending Tauranga Girls High School, de Bono continued to further develop her strong sporting pedigree with netball becoming more prominent. Before returning to New Zealand, de Bono was selected in the Australian U17 squad and has since left her mark across several representative teams on this side of the Tasman. She has been part of the Aotearoa Māori squad, the NZSS Development camp and identified as a NZ U21 player while also turning out for Waikato Bay of Plenty in the National Netball League. De Bono had limited opportunities in her first year but continues to grow in the Magic environment.
