2025 Training Partner Amorangi Malesala has been contracted as a replacement player with Te Wānanga o Raukawa Pulse through to early June.
Magic has appreciated the commitment and energy Amorangi has brought since joining the squad as a Training Partner. A player of her calibre was always likely to earn an opportunity at ANZ Premiership level, and the team wishes her all the very best during her time with the Pulse.
Magic is also pleased to announce that Brooklyn Murray will join the Avis Magic as a replacement Training Partner while Amorangi is with the Pulse.
Brooklyn is a promising young defender, currently part of the NZ U21 Squad and the WaiBOP Matarau NNL team for 2025. She travelled with the Magic to the pre-season tournament in Ōtaki and made a strong impression both on and off the court. The team looks forward to welcoming her into the environment.
