AVIS Magic is proud to welcome ChargeNet as an official supplier for the 2025 ANZ Premiership season.

ChargeNet, Aotearoa New Zealand’s nationwide EV charging network, operates over 510 fast charging points across more than 268 public sites. This partnership complements Magic’s EV player vehicle fleet provided by Farmer Autovillage, helping make sustainable travel more accessible for our team throughout the season.

For over a decade, ChargeNet has been committed to building and operating a reliable, accessible public charging network to support the transition to electric transport. Their extensive coverage helps our team travel to games and events with greater ease, while supporting a smarter, more responsible approach to getting around.

“We’re proud to partner with AVIS Magic, a team with strong community engagement and a future-focused approach to performance,” says ChargeNet Partnership Lead Caitlin Kropach. “With five Magic vehicles now fully electric, it’s great to see elite sport embracing practical, sustainable solutions. Our countrywide footprint means the team can stay powered up and connected wherever the season takes them.”

With both organisations aligned on innovation and sustainability, AVIS Magic Operations Manager, Janette Douglas says the partnership is a strong fit for the team.

“We’re pleased to welcome ChargeNet into the Magic whānau,” says Douglas. “Their nationwide coverage, especially in our region, gives our team the flexibility and confidence to travel sustainably. This is another important step in our commitment to supporting innovation and sustainability in sport.”
