The Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic are delighted to confirm that Avis, has re-signed as a naming partner for the 2026 season, continuing a strong and long-standing relationship with the team.
The renewal reinforces a shared commitment to high performance, community connection and the continued growth of women’s netball in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions.
Avis Magic Commercial Manager, Sheryl Dawson, said the ongoing support from Avis was a strong vote of confidence in the team and its direction.
“Avis has been a valued partner of Magic for the past three seasons, and as we enter our fourth year together, their continued backing reflects a genuine belief in our team, our people and the direction we’re heading,” Dawson said.
“Having a partner like Avis alongside us as we build toward the 2026 season provides stability and confidence.”

The 2026 ANZ Premiership season gets underway on 11 April, with the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic opening their campaign against the Te Wānanga o Raukawa Pulse. Avis Magic’s first home game will be played on 18 April at Mercury Baypark Arena, hosting the Northern Mystics to play for the Hobbiton Cup.
