AVIS Magic will proudly wear a new design for the 2024 ANZ Premiership with sports apparel manufacturing company Struddys confirmed as their new partner.
Struddys have signed a three-year deal with the Magic as they look to expand their operations in New Zealand and in netball.
With this announcement, Struddys will provide a premium sports kit for the Magic over the next three seasons and Magic general manager Justine Dixon said they were delighted to team up with the manufacturer.
“This is an exciting new partnership for both AVIS Magic and Struddys and we’re looking forward to working closely with them for a new look for our 2024 campaign,” she said.
“We certainly feel we’re in safe hands with Struddys as they have been manufacturing sportswear for over 40 years and are leaders when it comes to design and quality.
“With both the Magic and Struddys striving for excellence in their fields, its great to know we are entering a partnership with someone who is aligned with our same values.”
The Australian-owned and operated business – which is Queensland’s longest running sports retailer – has been manufacturing sportswear, school wear and corporate wear since 1975 and is now looking at establishing their brand in New Zealand.
New Zealand Sales Manager Garth Wilson said they were excited about teaming up with AVIS Magic in the premier domestic league.
“I know AVIS Magic have a proud and rich netball history in New Zealand which is why we’re thrilled about this new partnership as we also look to make our mark on this side of the Tasman,” he said.
“Our primary focus is to provide the best range and quality of sporting goods and apparel and our garments have been tested and developed by the player, for the player.
“We can’t wait to see the Magic and their fans wearing Struddys apparel for the new season and their campaigns in the future.”
The Magic open their ANZ Premiership season on 13 April at GLOBOX Arena in Hamilton when they host the defending champion Mystics.
