Can I purchase a membership for just the Hamilton or just the Tauranga Games?
With the split of venues this year, we have made the decision to just offer the one membership for those who wish to support us at all 5 games. You are able to gift your seat if you cannot attend. Bundles will be offered for each venue, and you may also purchase a bundle plus a supporters package if you want to stay more connected to the team.
Why does my membership cost more than the ticket prices?
A membership is more than just tickets – it is a sense of belonging. We offer many “money can’t buy” opportunities and there are actual costs such as the membership card and seat cover. To keep the price down we removed the function, which many enjoyed but many did not attend.
Membership Card (which is also your tickets)
This season we will be utilising accreditation‑style membership cards which double as your ticket. Present these at the door for scanning. We will advise when cards are ready for collection. They can be collected from our Hamilton office or at your first game.
Why is there no Pre‑Game function included this year?
To keep membership affordable, the function was removed. We may offer an optional paid function later in the season.
Exclusive Member Discount for Magic Merchandise (10%)
At‑venue: present your membership card.
Online: you will be emailed your unique code (not to be shared).
Personalised Seat Cover (New Members only)
All members will have a seat cover at their seat for the first game. Covers remain on your seat and will be placed out each game. Please do not take them home.
Invitation to attend selected Preseason Games
All Magic Members will receive a free ticket to the Pre‑Season game in Rotorua on 27th February.
Invitation to attend a Training Session
The team training calendar is being finalised. More information soon.
Invitation to purchase discounted Awards Function Tickets (18+ Only)
Date and venue TBC.
Tickets on sale in July; details will be emailed.
Priority entry at Games
Hamilton – Door 4.
Tauranga – Follow Team/VIP parking signs.

You will automatically receive these after purchasing a membership.

General FAQ's

What age is a Junior membership?
Junior memberships are for those over two years and 16 or under at the time of purchasing the membership.
Infants two years of age and under, attending on an adult’s lap, do not require a ticket. Juniors 14 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
Please note a Junior membership can only be purchased with an adult membership.

Where is the Limited Mobility or Wheelchair seating?
Wheelchair and companion seating are located in the courtside area, and limited mobility seats are also available. Please contact Ticketek directly to arrange.

Do you offer payment plans?
Not at this time.

Can I share my Membership with family and friends if I can’t attend a game?
Yes, you can. If you can’t attend a game, you are welcome to allow a family member or friend to use your membership card for that game. Junior Memberships can only be transferred to those aged under 15. Adult Memberships can be transferred to any person.

What do I do if I forgot, lost or haven’t received a Membership Card?
If you have forgotten your membership card on Game Day, you can send yourself an ezyTicket (print at home) via your order history.

Where are my seats located?
Your seats will be located in the premium seating allocation behind the players bench. A seating map is available on the Ticketek website.

Can I cancel my Membership?
Once purchased, WBOP Magic Memberships cannot be cancelled and are non‑refundable if you change your mind. You may choose to sell your membership to another person for its face value or less.
